{"id":2801,"date":"2026-03-17T13:42:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T12:42:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ra-sinergija.si\/uncategorized\/2nd-iconic-project-meeting\/"},"modified":"2026-03-17T13:42:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T12:42:08","slug":"2nd-iconic-project-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ra-sinergija.si\/en\/news-and-notification\/2nd-iconic-project-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"2nd ICONIC Project Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>2nd ICONIC Project Meeting \u2013 Beltinci and Moravske Toplice, 4\u20135 February 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">Razvojna agencija Sinergija hosted the 2nd interregional meeting of the ICONIC project, bringing together project partners from across Europe for two days of knowledge exchange and sharing of good practices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>Day 1 \u2013 Beltinci, 4 February<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The first day was dedicated to Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (SUMP) in the Slovenian context. Following opening remarks by the Municipality of Beltinci and Razvojna agencija Sinergija, participants heard three expert presentations: an overview of mobility measures implemented under the Beltinci SUMP; an insight into SUMP standards and current developments in Slovenia by Dr Mojca Balant of the Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia; and a presentation on promoting sustainable mobility in kindergartens and schools by Dr Maja Simoneti of the Institute for Spatial Policies. The day continued with a study visit \u2013 a walk through Beltinci and Murska Sobota to observe mobility measures in public spaces, followed by a guided tour of the EXPANO experiential park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>Day 2 \u2013 Moravske Toplice, 5 February<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The second day featured workshops and presentations of good practices from partner regions. SERDA presented SUMP standards from Bosnia and Herzegovina using the example of Sarajevo Canton, while the Subcarpathian Region shared its approach for the functional area of Rzesz\u00f3w. Good practices presented included guidelines for accessible bus stops, flexible public transport through cooperation between carriers and taxi operators, the suburban agglomeration railway (PKA), and the KarKarCar mobility cooperative from Sakane. The afternoon session focused on project communication \u2013 including the world premiere of the ICONIC project video, planning of a LinkedIn campaign and a review of the communication strategy.
